Do you accept insurance?
I do accept some forms of insurance, please contact me with your insurance information for details. For clients who would like to use insurance that I am not in-network with, I provide a “superbill” to you in order to request reimbursement by your insurance company for services.
What if I choose not to bill insurance?
Some clients choose to not use their insurance, for a variety of reasons, and opt to private pay. When choosing to private pay, you are not beholden to insurance companies’ requirements for service, including the need to make a clinical diagnosis, limitations on what type of therapy is covered, and the number of sessions allowed, and can be assured that the information shared in psychotherapy stays private without third party interference.
What are your specialties?
I have a specialty in mindfulness-based therapies and practice. I love working with people who are seeking psychotherapy to help heal their relationships with themselves. I have a particular interest in working with self-consciousness, including helping people with shame, inappropriate guilt, and moral injury relate to themselves and their experiences with greater ease and self-compassion. I have over a decade of experience working with Veterans, Service Members, and their loved ones, developing a specialty in trauma and moral injury recovery and an understanding of military culture.
